ACTIVITIES ON THE ESTATE
- Hiking and walking – There are mountain hiking trails, as well as a network of paved contoured walking paths, throughout the 800 hectare Estate and up into the mountain reserve, ensuring that trails are pleasantly simple, alongside winding rivers and waterfalls. The hike up the mountain offers panoramic, spectacular views.
- Cycling – There are tar roads for riding or tracks for mountain bikes.

- Flyfishing – Pristine trout dams that are regularly stocked with Rainbow Trout and from time to time also Brown Trout. The estate regularly wins awards for its fishing. (You require a permit to Flyfish at the Estate, the house has four permits for guests)
- Indigenous flora and Fauna – The Estate and surrounding area offers ample birdwatching, especially near the natural dams. There is variety of game such as Zebra, Blesbok and others, jackets, genets and caracals. The area has a unique sub alpine climate with many rare bulbs, orchids and plants.

- The estate has a number of game that roam freely which include Impala, Zebra, Blue Wildebeest and Bles buck.
- Accessibility – 1000m long, 8m asphalt runway ideal for light aircraft and helicopters and it is 10km East from Dullstroom, and fully accessible by car.








The herds of Zebra, often come down the driveway of ‘Outcrop Country house’ and come for a tea visit or a late night walkabout!
