Outcrop country house on Walkersons Country Estate, 10km East outside of Dullstroom, in Mpumalanga,in the Eastern Highlands of South Africa, is uniquely situated on the Estate, where you feel you are completely alone and one with nature! The house was designed and positioned so that each window in the house, frames every view in the best possible way. When you stay at Outcrop Country House, you feel like you are in a moving Gallery of ever changing, sometimes astoundingly beautiful, often dramatic, yet peaceful, serene paintings!

Welcome too Nature’s moving Art Gallery! All four seasons are on full display at Outcrop Country house, and the view will keep you mesmerised! The peace and tranquility of this special view sometimes brings a ‘playful dance‘ with clouds of mist, that comes creeping up from the valley below, and you are at times, snuggly cocooned in it’s misty silence…In those magic moments, the fireplace crackles, cosy activities around reading, playing board games, or cooking ‘nourishing’ stews or soups, in the open- plan kitchen, living space, or simply curling up under a warm snuggly blanket listening to the silence, is your only ‘to-do‘ list!

The entire house is yours for the weekend you book too stay, and it’s a self-catering offer!

Set your alarm for 5 o clock, early in the morning, to appreciate and witness this spectacular play with mist and the sun rising! You will not be disappointed!  ….And take in the spectacular rainbows and big wide skies filled with visible stars and you clearly see the milky way!

Once you reach the road that connects too Outcrop, follow the short driveway to a peaceful, calming and relaxed experience!
