Outcrop Country House on Walkersons Estate, is uniquely situated and designed to absorb the open wide spaces of the Eastern Highlands!

OUTCROP COUNTRY HOUSE DIRECTIONS
By road:
Walkersons Country Estate is approximately 2.5hours drive from Johannesburg on the N12 (to Emalahleni) and then the N4(to Belfast) and last 250km on the R540, or 2 hours from Pretoria, on the N4 to Mbombela (formerly Nelspruit), in Mpumalanga Province. The nearest village is Dullstroom.

From Dullstroom:

  • Drive through Dullstroom on the main road which is the the R540 and in Dullstroom is called Naledi Drive.
  • Depart on the R540 heading towards Mashishing formerly Lydenburg in a North East Direction.
  • After 10km on the R540 the you will see the turnoff of Walkersons Estate on the right hand side.
  • There is a 4km winding tar road that leads you into the valley and to the estates entrance gate.
  • The speed limit on the estate is 40km/h.

At the Gate:

  • Guests will be provided with a URL on their phone for entry.
  • When you arrive at the main gate the estate staff will take a copy of your drivers licence/ID and vehicle licence disk.
  • Guests are issued with a ‘blue visitors card’ for display on the vehicles. Please keep this displayed on the vehicle.

From the Main Gate:

  • Outcrop Country house, is at stand no 39.
  • From the gate follow the main road, Walkersons Road, to the hotel. After 2.5 km’s you will reach a point where the road splits. Take the right hand fork to Hiddendale on the Hiddendale Road, the sign here indicates Private – Residents Only road.
  • Travel on this road passing the road called Falls View on your left.
  • The next road is a private un named road, turn left down this road and cross a small bridge. This road leads directly to no 39 – Outcrop.
  • The house is on a tar road and driveway and is accessible via sedan car.

It is the responsibility of the guests to have sufficient insurance for their persons, medical needs and possessions. Neither Walkersons Estate nor the homeowners accept any liability in this respect.
